Good work starts with asking the right questions. Trav’s Plumbing & HVAC is a local, family-owned and operated company that believes the service starts with understanding the real problem.
Trav’s Plumbing & HVAC Ltd. Was founded by Traver Klassen in 2016, but Traver’s experience in the industry goes back 25 years. We’re not a franchise or a large corporation. We’re a local team working in the same Pembina Valley communities where we live, and we’ve built our business by doing work we’re proud to stand behind. We work with homeowners, businesses, farmers, and contractors on everything from routine maintenance and emergency repairs to new plumbing and HVAC installations. But what really defines how we work is what happens when the answer isn’t obvious.

Troubleshooting is one of our favourite parts of the job. If something doesn’t make sense, we keep looking. We pay attention to small details, consider how different parts of a system are interacting, and ask why something failed – not simply which part failed.
This can mean catching a problem that was previously misdiagnosed. It can mean finding a safety concern that might otherwise have been overlooked. And sometimes it means discovering that a relatively simple repair can save a customer from replacing an expensive piece of equipment they didn’t need to replace.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?
Yes. If you have a plumbing or HVAC problem that can’t wait, call or text (204) 362-1734 anytime, day or night. Emergency rates apply.
What areas do you serve?
Our primary service area includes Winkler, Morden, Altona, Plum Coulee, Reinfeld, and surrounding Pembina Valley communities. We can travel outside this area; standard travel fees apply.
Do you work with residential and commercial customers?
Yes – and farms, too. We provide plumbing and HVAC services for residential, commercial, and agricultural properties, including multiplexes, farms, acreages, and contractor projects.
Do you service all makes and models?
Yes. Although we’re a registered Bryant dealer and also work with Payne equipment, we service all makes and models.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Trav’s Plumbing & HVAC is licensed and insured, with qualifications covering plumbing, gas fitting, and refrigeration. Our work is completed properly and to code.
Will you tell me if something can be repaired instead of replaced?
Absolutely. Replacing equipment isn’t automatically the answer. We investigate the cause of the problem and look for a safe, practical, and cost-effective solution first.
